A retired professional but still active in modern-day worklife, I maintain a healthy lifestyle, plays golf and music for exercise and recreation. I have a regular band which does occasional performances at functions and charities. I received primary Chinese education and finished higher education in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Got a diploma in Advertising and Design and started my career as an advertising executive in an advertising agency in the seventies.

Working Experience
- 1974 to 1979 – Account Executive in Process Advertising (small outdoor advertising co.).
- 1979 to 1985 – Proprietor of own ad agency specializing in design, production of radio jingles, and below-the-line services.
- 1985 to 1995 – Own Sdn Bhd in design & supply of advertising promotion materials in agency support works, music production for radio and TV commercials, product launches, etc.
- 1995 to 2007 – Company acquired a niche Japanese Art Glass franchise and pioneered the supply & installation of specialized art glass (stained & etched) for home and commercial use and in the process did receive much hands-on knowledge in interior design & renovation and subsequently got into the business as well.
- 2007 to 2012 – Retired but was invited to join Freight Mark(M) S/B as a Maintenance & Project Manager to help set up a warehouse maintenance team and also to oversee the construction of their next 2 warehouses where in the course of work have acquired extensive knowledge in building and construction through my regular interaction with architects, engineers and contractors, building materials suppliers, local authorities such as bomba, CIDB, and so on until I resigned due to health issues.
- 2016 to 2019 – Joined The One Property and later Landbanc as a REN until Covid hit and the rest is history.
